R.I.P. STAN LEE 1922-2018

Stan Lee
For as long as I have been alive there has been a STAN LEE. The greatest teachers in my life were my father & mother, and the characters STAN created, and published at MARVEL (as well as the character's of Marvel competitor DC Comics). They Instilled in me a love of reading, and nurtured my imagination.
School may have taught me the basics of the three R's ( Reading Riting, and Rithmatic) but STAN and others like him taught me how to be a good person. His principles as embodied in his characters such as Spider-man, The Fantastic Four, Dare Devil, Doctor Strange, and others. reinforced the lessons my parents taught me about fair play, honor, and how to live an ethical life.
Through his writing he showed me that the path of the hero is never an easy one, but it is one that can be, nay  MUST be walked. He showed me that even though that path is fraught with temptations and pitfalls that will make us stumble and fall, it is our responsibility, to get up dust ourselves of and start down the path again.
In today's world decency and honour are being dealt many great and powerful blows by base villains. They claim the title of Hero. but they seek only to divide us, and set us at each others throats. Stan, and his colleagues, taught us how to have compassion, and that we should unite behind our common humanity. Now that STAN is gone we need to pick up the torch he left for us, and show the world what true heroes look like.
Excelsior!!!
'nuff said !!
